I don't think anyone's ever actually used "I just want to be friends" with me before, so he gains points for being first but loses them for unoriginality and for breaking up with me. So in the end, he loses. And I lost even more. I want to be his friend, but I can't go from wanting to spend the rest of my life with this guy and thinking about him almost every moment that I'm awake as well as a good portion of the ones while I'm asleep, to just being a friend. Maybe later, after I've cleared my head and been at school for a while....
